Global consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Developer for projects across Australia. Your role will be to define and implement data integration architecture utilise your dimensional data modelling skills.

Necessary Skills Include:

Intermediate knowledge of data extraction, analysis, and reporting processes and tools such as Business Objects, Crystal, SQL and/or SAS
Microsoft Office product skills

Senior-level experience of 6 to 10 years

Advanced ETL experience using Informatica or Data Stage

Strong leadership experience including proven success in leading development teams in complex Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence project implementations
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in working directly with business customers

Advanced SQL skills including complex query building and query performance tuning

Data analysis skills - ability to dig in and understand complex models and business processes

UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL Database experience

Data warehouse design skills
Business Objects (WEBi, Xcelsius, and Crystal Reports)
Requirements gathering / facilitation skills
Requirements development, documentation, and analysis
Data profiling experience
Define and implement data integration architecture

ETL code deployment and production troubleshooting experience
Strong ETL performance tuning skills; the ability to quickly and efficiently analyse and resolve performance issues within a variety of operational environments
Demonstrated ability to analyse data concerning production volumes, batch schedules, and I/O statistics
Proven problem-solving / problem resolution abilities

Demonstrated ability to translate business processes to applicable requirement types (functional, technical, etc.)
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
